if you just hold on for one more second
just hold on to what you have
if you'll just hold on, just hold on
you will wake up tomorrow

Friends/Non-Friends/Sort-of-Friends, what?
So it occurs to me that I have quite a few friends/non-friends/people I wish would be my friends but aren't. So here's a pseudo-list, mainly so I can keep track.

Stephen - The best guy ever. I can't really figure out why I love to hang with him so much, or why we get along so well and never fight. Maybe it's because neither of us really care about much of anything, other than television. He's the one person I can count on to never call me when my favorite shows are on. We do the same thing, all the time - Starbucks, smoke, my apartment, smoke, watch TV, smoke, drink a beer or two, smoke. It's so great, and surprisingly not boring.

Ajay - Right. Don't let him drink tequila. Ever. He WILL be sure to vomit all over the place and drive you out of the room.

Jenie - I love this girl, and totally respect her for getting through her fair share of problems. She has horrible taste in guys, though. Here's hoping her current beau isn't a jackass. I kind of wish she would stay single for at least a freakin' month, just so she can figure things out on her own. But whatever suits her fancy, I guess.

Caitlin - Rad. Like hella. Changed a lot since high school, but for the better. I don't have much to say about her, because she is rad.

Lucinda - Um...Right. We had a fight almost a year ago and have only spoken two or three times since then. She called me last night (I didn't answer), and I called her back this morning and we talked for awhile. I think we might have gotten past that whole fight-bullshit thing.

Like I said. Psuedo-list. I probably won't ever finish it, so if you're not on it, get offended. I really don't care.

these arms remain stretched out to you
maybe someday you'll accept them
or maybe it's too late to save
a young girl's heart that's long stopped beating
